Office hours

Just when I thought that I had seen it all, I dropped by for a chat with my colleague Dave Ogden. His office speaks for itself!daves-office-hours

Park building photo

This photo is one for those that have long since given up any sense of trust in a digital image. I built this photo over several days. It started with the building itself, standing in full open shade. The light was really flat and uninviting, just what I wanted. I shot the building with a 24mm lens, so you know that there was some serious distortion I had to wrestle with…which just added to the fun. After I adjusted the lines and tones within the image, I added the banner on the right side which lists our Second Fridays locations. Then as a final touch, I placed some copy on the road using a drop shadow effect to lift the text off of the road surface. The final image was made to help promote our Second Fridays event that I have commented on in the past. Now my biggest fear is that there is a misspelling lurking somewhere in the iamge. I have always been a lousy speller…one of my many character flaws.  :)

Booth shot

Here is another in my continuing series of self-portraits. This shot was made at the start of our April 2d Fridays Art show. I had a great time, as you might note from this image. Hopefully I will see you in May for what promises to be our biggest and best 2d Fridays Art show. booth-shot
